movies

i watched one measly movie i say i’ll watch more and then i never do. how do i change myself

> his: i cried 2 whole tears to this movie which is so much for me bc i dont cry when im sad. i got my period 2 days after this though which explains it. i loved how cozy this movie was i am a Sucker for domesticity and also sora <3 her actress was so good actually. i feel like i like watching movies where nothing happens bc i seem to enjoy those so i need to find more movies like those to watch !

tv shows

i started 2 shows and didnt finish either one who am i ??? actually i started a lot of media that i never ended up finishing lol idk what was up w me bc i can usually never leave anything half finished but here i am. 

> yumi’s cells: watched this for bohyun and bc his chemistry w goeun was so cute but i Haaated the writing. as soon as saeyi came in w her manipulative tendencies it was a no from me. and then in ep 6 when goo woong had to take a shit in yumi’s apartment and literally dedicated half an episode to his bathroom problems was just not it. i stopped at ep 6 i think ? bohyun pls take more mean roles or action roles it’s weird to see him in a role so mundane ? maybe i’ll go back and finish it one day (probably not though lmfao)

> pose: im enjoying this one so far !!! i started it on the 16th and im still not done w it which is very slow for me but this month has been SOOO Busy i havent even been able to read the recent posts on my dw reading page which is so sad. anyways this show does found family so well !

> the mysterious classroom - treasure: stop im loving this series so much. treasure have really all improved their acting so much from their last webdrama. at first i didnt wanna watch it bc wtf why is yg giving them everything except for a fucking cb but i still wanna support them and the premise for the webdrama is pretty interesting! my poor meow meow haruto. someone stop me i cant stop saying my poor meow meow and soon it wont be ironic anymore. 

> DND & timeout - the boyz: continued watching both of these + some other various tbz content and my babys i love tbz so much. they are so entertaining to watch im especially loving timeout.

i need cix to have a weekly variety show too come on c9 how are we supposed to retain fixes when there’s No content. like cix work so hard to go on vlive and keep up on universe but i would rather them have actual variety/reality content so they arent doing all of this on their own outside of work. give me more of them playing the puppy game !!! actually i dont wanna see that again once was enough for me.

books

> down comes the night (allison saft): read this bc someone on the tl said it was a nice spooky fantasy and honestly i would’ve Loved it in middle school. it reminded me of those ya books like red queen or the cruel prince and it was fine, it was predictable and i hated una i did not think wren should’ve forgiven her but idk. 

> our violent ends (chloe gong): been waiting for this one since i read tvd in june and i <333 roma and juliette so much. chloe’s writing style is So nice i wanted to read slowly for savoring purposes but i read it in 3 days in the middle of the school week bc i just loved it sm. benmars <3 the end was actually so nice and im glad she wrote the ending the way she did. 

> the bronzed beasts (roshani chokshi): this one is by far my fav out of the trilogy. the writing was good and the plot was perfect too !!! severin having to slowly earn back the trust of his friends was good to see and laila my love :( the ending was so weird to me idk ? i think i found it abrupt how they left the ziggurat and then out of nowhere severin’s a grandfather and immortal and everyone else dies. very fitting ? with the writing style but also weird. 

> faking under the mistletoe (ashley shepherd): god i loved this book. im pretty sure i would’ve flown through whatever i read after 3 fantasys but this one was just So good. usually w romances i love one of the characters and mildly dislike the other but i loved asher and olivia so much. neither of them were annoying at all and i just didnt want this book to end. i really honestly like how predictable romances are ngl? the familiarity is comforting and i like the fluff so as long as i dont read like 4 in a row i tend to like most of the ones i read. i also really liked how this book approached sexual harrassment bc olivia facing it not only at her internship but Also at her second job . yeah. that part was realistic and while it was unrealistic how easily everything ended w levi and how everyone got what they deserved, it was still so charming. a very nice holiday read <3

also been thinking lately ab my reading patterns and i feel like i just generally fall back on reading like books w white ppl bc idc if they disappoint me and fall short of my expectations (bc im kinda already expecting that?)  but w books that idk have indian characters or have characters that i personally relate to i just want the representation to be good and when it falls short it like hurts ? honestly idk where im going w this bc i do read a lot of ownvoices now and probably more poc authors than white authors,,, definitely more than when i was in middle school and had to settle for whatever the library had at the time. one of my reading goals for next year will def be reading from  more diverse authors, in fiction and nonfiction.

um i started like 50 fics and finished maybe 2. idk why. falling asleep was a challenge this month lol. djf started posting like 2 days ago and ive been reading like 2 of those fics everyday thankfully something got me out of my reading slump. havent read many of them yet but im excited for the rest. also read a ranwan fic out of nowhere? it was the first one i’ve read but i missed them lots :( maybe i will reread some of 2ha over winter break lol

do u ever get obsessed w a band and their 7 song discography for an entire month ? idk what to say i barely listened to music this month and didnt check out like any new releases. following the same pattern as the rest of the categories i did like nothing this month lol. i did love ito and eyes but eyes is just So perfect to me txt perfect discography <3 

writing

started writing sangric actors which will probably be my last fic of the year if i can even finish it in time ? w the way this month has gone idk if i’ll be able to finish it in december. nov/dec are my most chaotic months of the year, and especially so this year. i wrote 16k this month which is actually pretty crazy given that i thought i would only write 5k and well,,, all of tha 16k is sangric actors. a writing goal i have for next year is to write works under like 8k bc ive gotten used to giving everything plot and drawing things out. and it’s fun to write short stuff so i wanna make those wip ideas a priority too.

this was just a month. i hate that the sun sets at 5 pm with a passion. it was a weird busy overwhelming month but i did enjoy my thanksgiving break and i have a week and a half of the semester left and then i’ll be in india for almost my entire winter break which is ,,, something ! anyways i hope you all had a good november and have a warm fun calm december <33
