i love ranking random things so here we are. 

top 15 kpop title tracks:

4th gen ggs carried kpop this year but there were also so many good bg releases,,, esp non noise music tts ? luna oneus and do or not ptg are such good songs i love them. notice the amt of summer songs,,,, this is very subjective bc one i love summer and two im on break during summer so i obviously am just happier lol. also there’s a wall between the top 10 and the last 5,, which are more like honorary mentions lol. i also only included one cb from each group, even though the only groups that even had potential to be included a second time were only cix and stayc.

i think its clear that most 4th bgs make good bsides over tts,, at least in my opinion. the top 5 albums have no skips to me and are literally perfect albums. the rest all have about 1 song that i dont care for at all but all these albums are just so good to me. idk how but victon’s album is my most listened to album of the whole year? my victon stannery lasted like 3 weeks in march what was i on during those 3 weeks.

i tried not to include more than one song for each group but the 2 cix songs,,, they’re literally my favs i couldnt leave either one out. this is basically a list of the songs i was fully obsessed with throughout the entire year… if you call me is my 2nd most listened to song this year,,, after rebel by cix,, which is crazy tbh. cix i am waiting for the rebel stage have we not waited long enough i need the rebel stage. most of these songs are in my top 15 most listened to tracks but im gonna make another post for my 2021 last.fm stats. 

top 5 kpop solos:

there is a wall between the top 2 and the other 3,,, glassy and us are so good couldnt stop streaming them when they came out. also i didnt know that moon jong up was a bap member,,, imagine my surprise when i found out i legit thought he was like 22 and newly debuting LOL.

this was such a good year for osts i think like osts are always good but there were SO Many good osts this year. starlight jeong hyo bean is insanely good i love it so so much. the top 3 are so precious to me,, actually everything on this list i love a lot. love sight being the only ballad ost is so funny to me. i think i like all of these osts so much because ive watched almost all the dramas they were in,, except the ones priority, beautiful and paradise were for but since i stan tbz and trsr i still ended up liking them a lot. paradise reminds me of 2012 music but its so good. 

top 6 kdramas:

only ranking 6 bc everything else i watched didnt make me feel as feral as the top 6 did. homecha still came first even with its flaws bc it did make me like unreasonably happy while it was airing. run on was so good too <33 best 2 kdramas of the year. i realized i like character-driven dramas more than plot-driven dramas :D doom at your service wasnt even that good but im park boyoung fan and i like dramas w supernatural elements. i think the saddest part of kdramas released this year were kbls bc i watched like 6 kbls this year and only really liked 1. all of my problems w kbls would be solved if there was a longer runtime tbh,, also if more of the actors could actually act. anyways !

this was so hard to do,,, since bad buddy is still airing i didnt include it but i would be number 2 on this list lol. i think the kdramas would also go right under word of honor but i thought i would separate them so i could include more shows that arent kdramas,,, but it turns out i watched so much that it was so hard to even start to rank them. homecha run on word of honor and bad buddy are my top shows of the year for sure though !!!

the books i read this year were all so good it was hard to rank them. tgcf and 2ha are like in a league of their own simply bc of their length,, they’re both like full length series on their own but tbh at the end of the yr these are the books i still think ab fairly often :D.

i didnt have time to write any of my reflection/roundups for 2021 in december so im sorry for the havoc i will be wreaking on your reading pages this month!
